We have really gotten stupid in this Country...

We have gone way off of the reservation in this Country. Political correctness is going to be the ruination of our Nation. Need some examples? Here are a couple...

In Orange, Massachusetts ateacher refused to hang an 11 year old student's drawing of the American Flag because it might offend another student. This happened at the Butterfield Elementary school. How can the Flag of our Nation offend anyone? If people are offended by Old Glory, they probably shouldn't be here in the first place.

A 9 year old elementary school student from Palmer, Massachusetts, will be summoned to juvenile court to face charges for bringing a toy handgun on the school bus. The boy has no history of violence, has made no threats towards other students or teachers. The boy claims he forgot that the toy was in his pocket. Now he is facing charges and has to appear in court.

Is anyone surprised that both of these happened in Massachusetts? I'm not saying that Massachusetts has cornered the market on stupid, but they have more than their fair share.
