The brewers are said to be ready to splash Ksh300, 000 ($3800) to land the marauding left foot attacker, a figure that would make him the most expensive ever in the Kenya Premier League.
Previously, defender Edgar ‘Fighter’ Ochieng’s Ksh250, 000 ($3,200) move from Mathare United to Sofapaka was the highest transfer figure.
City Stars chairman Justin Birich confirmed the intended deal and said the money was too tempting to block the deal.
"Muaka is our best player and it is sad to see him leave the club, but the money Tusker are offering for him is too tempting for us to scuttle the move. I believe he will soon be a Tusker player, and we will use the money to look for his replacement in the short period remaining," Birich told The Standard.
The club will replace Muaka place with two foreign players, a Ghanian and a Nigerian.
Defender John Amboko, who joined AFC Leopards and midfielder Dennis ‘Wise’ Okoth who has joined Gor Mahia are the other places that will be filled before the transfer window closes.
"We have been pursuing two foreigners and we are working on their work permits at the moment. I’m sure their move will be completed soon," Birich said.

Two billion Danish kroner (about 366 million US dollar) is a lot of money. However, it is just enough for the 11 players from Chelsea, 10 times more than their opponent FC Copenhagen, said the report.
Though it is theoretically a hopeless task for FC Copenhagen, their performance in this year's tournament have showed that they could play against the top team worldwide at their home court.
"It is great for Danish football that we can have a team goes so far. And FC Copenhagen proved that they could play against Barcelona last year. Now they can do it again against Chelsea," said Peter Schmeichel, former national team goalkeeper to MetroXpress.
"It is wonderful that the coach have the players stick together. They fight for each other," he added.
"They are motivated and have a belief in themselves. There has been such a very special atmosphere and spirit when they come to the stadiums this season, Mentally, they are very strong and powerful," said reporter Luna Christofi.
"Although Chelsea is not in shape recently, it would surprise me if FC Copenhagen could win. But it will be a close fight," TV reporter Preben Elkjaer said.

Real Madrid players in the Spanish National Football team
When Spain won its’ first international title since 1964 and only it second overall title at the EURO 2008 there were only 2 Real Madrid players in the squad: Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos. Barca did not fare much better though with just 3 players out of 22-23 in the squad.
When Florentino Perez took over the leadership of Real Madrid in June 2009 one of his goals was to “Spaniardize” the team – put more native Spanish players on the team. So he went out and signed the young and talented central defender Raul Albiol in Valencia. He got the former Real Madrid youth player Alvaro Arbeloa from Liverpool and after a long and tough negotiation he finally got the central midfielder he wanted in Xabi Alonso also coming from Liverpool. All 3 are part of the Spanish squad which has qualified for South Africa 2010 so when the World Cup 2010 kicks off it will probably be with at least 5 Real Madrid players in the Spanish squad.

Maybe the club of Real Madrid has a special contract regarding footwear for some of the less known players who might not have independent contracts with the athletic apparel and footwear brands.

On Saturday night the 14th of November 2009 Spain and Argentina played a friendly in Madrid to celebrate the 100th anniversary / centenary of the Spanish Football Federation. Both Spain and Argentina had Real Madrid players in the squad for the match.
For Argentina Higuain and Gago with both in the starting 11 on the night.
For Spain Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, and Xabi Alonso were among the starters. Arbeloa and Albiol on the bench.
In a way this was also Iker Casillas’ night since he played his match number 100 for Spain. So it was a double 100th anniversary.
The great hero on the night turned out to be Xabi Alonso though who scored 2 goals. The first goal was a loose ball in the box which he reached before the defenders and put away. The second goal was a penalty up in the upper lefthand corner of the goal.
The Spanish press was happy about the result and the performance by the team. During the first half Argentina hardly was in possession of the ball and did not create many chances. Spain on the other was in total control and came to several chances beyond the goal which gave them a 1-0 halftime lead.
Inside the newspaper each player is given a grade for the performance. The scale goes from 3 – 1 with 3 being the highest. 0 is failed or without qualification.

Argentine International Footballers In Real Madrid Football Club
Due to the link between Spain and Latin America and the similar culture and the language they have in common many South American players have played and play in Spanish football. Including for Real Madrid. One of the all time greatest Real Madrid players Alfredo di Stefano was Argentinian. The stadium where Real Madrid’s satellite club Real Madrid Castilla plays has thus been named after Alfredo di Stefano. Later on during the 1980s the current sports director in Real Madrid Jorge Valdano played with los merengues and during the 1990s Fernando Redondo.
In the current Real Madrid squad there are two Argentinian internationals. Fernando Gago y Gonzalo Higuain. Both were young talents in Argentina and came to Real Madrid at an early age. While none of them have established themselves in the league of Di Stefano or Redondo they do play regularly on the first team and Higuain was even the club’s topscorer for the season 2008/09.
Fernando Gago:
Gago played with the jersey number 8 for the season 2008/09. For the season 2009/10 he switched to the jersey number 5. In Argentina the number 5 jersey is reserved for the central midfield player and has a very high status since it is a very important position in the Argentinian system. Kaka who was new in the club had played previously with number 22 , with number 8, and with number 10. Kaka was not really interested in wearing the number 5 jersey previously worn by Zidane since he would rather be Kaka than “the new Zidane”. So in the end everyone came out happy with the numbers assigned.
Gonzalo Higuain:
Higuain is a very explosive player and is a powerful forward. He has a great and fierce shot and is very aggressive in the box. Higuain wears the jersey number 20 and plays in adidas predator boots. The version in the photo is white with a bit of black or navy at the back.
The other player in the photo happens also to be an Argentinian international though not representing Real Madrid anymore. It is Gabriel Heinze formerly with Manchester United and Real Madrid but currently with Olympique Marseille.

Argentina Football Team in the World Cup 2010
Argentina with Real Madrid player Gonzalo Higuain in the starting formation won the final and crucial match against Uruguay away from home with 1-0. The victory released a lot of steam among the Argentinian players and the coaching staff which had all been under immense pressure and scrutiny before the match. There was great relief most of all to be seen from the player’s faces after the match rather than pure joy over the direct qualification for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa. However, the polemics surrounding the Argentine national team did not stop there since the head coach Diego Maradona launched out after his critics after the match using words and phrases not usually associated with comments made in public or in the media.
Among the statements made by Maradona:

I have a good memory and to all of those who did not believe in us and who criticized me and the team along the way: suck it – and keep on sucking it.

Spanish Football Team World Cup jersey
The new Spain national team jersey has now been revealed and officially presented. The presentation took place on the 12th of November 2009 in Madrid.
The jersey is inspired by the Spanish national team 1980s jersey. Spain had a good team during the 1980s but failed to win anything though they did get close at the EURO 1984 reaching the final before losing out against France.
The new Spain jersey is in a less aggressive red color than some of its predecessors. Furthermore there a small stretches of blue at the collar and at the end of the sleeves. The name of the new collection: “Poder de la Roja”. The power of the Reds.
The shorts are in a similar colourway to those used at the EURO 1984 in France. A blue color with stripes in the colors of the Spanish flag red and yellow.
The stripes are in a golden color which is a tribute to South Africa and the city of Johannesburg which is known as the “city of gold” due to the vast gold deposits found in area around the city.

The new Spain jersey also features a slightly remodeled crest. The year of foundation of the Spanish football federation has been included since it is its’ 100 anniversary this year: 1909 – 2009.

Every year a number of players enter the club and a number of players leave the club. The total number of players in the first team squad remains fixed though at 24.
After the season 2009/10 the following players left Real Madrid: v. Nistelrooy 17. Metzelder 21. Raul 7. Guti Haz 14.
So far these players have been replaced by: Sergio Canales, Di Maria, Pedro Leon, Carvalho, and Sammi Khedira + Özil.
Most likely a couple of players will leave the club before the 31st of August so the total number of players in the first team squad will be 24.

Most likely a couple of players will leave the club before the 31st of August so the total number of players in the first team squad will be 24.

Cristiano has more shots on goal than Messi. But Messi has scored more goals than Ronaldo thus having a far higher accuracy. But is that due to the fact that Real Madrid is playing a more direct way with more shots on goal as a team than FC Barcelona ? Which on the other hand might rely on playing the ball through for better but fewer chances .. Or is Messi simply better in front of goal than Ronaldo.
Messi has more assists than Ronaldo but again is that due to the way of playing of the team or is he better to spot his fellow team mates for open chances or are the surrounding Barca players better than the team mates of Cristiano when it comes to finishing in front of goal ?

Messi was at one stage romantically linked to Macarena Lemos, also from his hometown of Rosario. He is said to have been introduced to her by the girl's father when he returned to Rosario to recover from his injury a few days before the start of the 2006 World Cup. He has in the past also been linked to the Argentine glamour model Luciana Salazar. In January 2009 he told "Hat Trick Barça", a programme on Canal 33: "I have a girlfriend and she is living in Argentina. I am relaxed and happy". Hernández began playing with Chivas' lower division team, Chivas Coras in Tepic, Nayarit in the 2005–06 season. He made his debut for Chivas in the 2006 Apertura in a win over Necaxa at Estadio Jalisco. Manchester United were first made aware of Hernández in October 2009; a scout went to Mexico that December and reported positively after watching a few games. Because of Hernández's age, the club originally planned to wait before making a move to sign him, but his potential involvement with the national team at the World Cup rushed the club into making a bid. United's chief scout, Jim Lawlor, was sent to Mexico for three weeks in February and March to watch Hernández and filed another positive report on him, before the club solicitor went over to Mexico to finalise the paperwork.On 8 April 2010, Hernández agreed a deal to sign for Manchester United for an undisclosed fee, subject to a work permit application. The previous day, Hernández had been present at Manchester United's Champions League quarter-final win over Bayern Munich at Old Trafford. The deal was conducted in complete secrecy; Hernández's agent was kept in the dark, as was his grandfather Tomás Balcázar, who thought Hernández was going on a trip to Atlanta in the United States. As part of the deal, United played a friendly against Chivas to open their new stadium on 30 July. On 27 May, the work permit was granted, allowing the transfer to be made official on 1 July.
2010–11 season
Hernández made his United debut on 28 July, coming on as a 63rd-minute substitute for Nani in the 2010 MLS All-Star Game; he scored his first goal for the club 18 minutes later, lobbing the ball over Nick Rimando from just outside the area after a long through-ball from Darren Fletcher. Two days later, Hernández scored against Manchester United while playing in a friendly for his old club, Chivas; he started the game in a Chivas jersey and scored after just eight minutes. He switched sides at half-time, but he was unable to prevent a 3–2 defeat for Manchester United. There are a couple of good topics this week in the rise of Javier Hernandez at Manchester United and also Liverpool since King Kenny Dalglish has taken over.
In the first case Hernandez has been the stand out signing of the Premier League this season. Most of that praise was given to Rafael Van der Vaart of Tottenham at the start of the season, as the season has gone on Hernandez has taken this title.
Manchester United have all but confirmed the Premier League crown by beating Chelsea in the weekend with Hernandez playing another starring role.
His pace and touch have even caused ex-players such as Pele to come out and say he could be the next Messi. This would seem to fit well for Pele as he knows it would stir his biggest rival in Maradona to a point where we may see a comment in retaliation anytime.
Pele also had a little jibe at Messi saying "the Messi we see playing for Barcelona is very different to the Messi we see for Argentina" and that he needs to prove himself for country before he gets the title of greatness.
Pele probably has a point as the very best are judged on what they have done for club and country, this will be true in the case of both Messi and Hernandez though Messi still stands out globally for me. The best thing is we get to see them battle it out for the Champions League on the 28th May, one player will come out a hero and Hernandez could go a long way to backing up Pele's claims if it is him.
On the Liverpool front I am baffled to know why Kenny Dalglish hasn't been signed up as the permanent manager yet.
The results have turned around so quickly and the football has been entertaining to watch, goals are flowing and there have been multiple goal scorers.
Surely the Liverpool board have given Dalglish the vote of confidence and it is only him that is holding back at the moment. If he walked away now it would be the perfect exit to maintain his legend status at the club. I don't know if he can do much better next season with the players he has over the clubs that have endless funds.
It has been a frustrating last couple of seasons for the reds fans, the only answer is to sign King Kenny and start putting the puzzle together for next season. If not I fear Liverpool will be right back where they began this season watching the likes of Hernandez at Manchester United tear the league to shreds.
It might just be Hernandez' year next season, that's enough to put the fear into any manager that takes the reigns at Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal. I can't see a player available that any of these clubs could sign to seriously threaten Hernandez position at the top next season.
