What can Newt be thinking?

Day one, right out of the chute, Newt has to start kicking other Republicans in the nuts. Does he think that by alienating a bunch of people he increases his chances at becoming the nominee?

Paul Ryan's plan may not be perfect, but he is willing to do SOMETHING. We didn't get into this entitlement mess over night. It took many years of BOTH PARTIES passing the buck. Politicians are far more worried about their political careers than they are the welfare of our Country. Ryan has shown, with his plan, that he has the future of our Nation in mind. It may not be popular to talk about changing social security and medicare, but is a conversation we need to be having.

Newt has flip-flopped on so many issues, most people have lost count. He has no chance at becoming the Republican candidate. None. He may have the most name recognition out of the current bunch, but that isn't always a good thing. Especially when you are notorious instead of famous...

What about Ron Paul?

Could you vote for Ron Paul?

I agree with his stance on about 80% of the issues. The other 20%, not so much. And some of the areas I disagree with him on are some of the most troubling.

I don't think we should have an isolationist attitude as a Country. I'm not suggesting that we continue a policy of being the police force of the world, but some issues are worth getting involved in. But, sometimes we should let people work stuff out themselves. I disagree with him on Iraq. That was an issue worth getting involved in. saddam hussein was a very bad man and a supporter of terror. He had weapons of mass destruction and he proved he was capable of using them. In my opinion, our biggest mistake in Iraq was worrying too much about saving infrastructure and political correctness. Because of our desire to be politically correct, we let scumbags like muqtada al-sadr live to fight another day. We should have taken his ass out at our earliest opportunity.

Ron Paul belives terrorism is just like any other murder, I disagree. Terrorism is a state of mind. Terrorists have no motive other than furthering their own beliefs. No amount of analyzing will find a cure for it. The only way to deal with terrorists is with force. Superior firepower.

He opposes the death penalty. I am a supporter. I don't think tax payers should be burdened with taking care of a murderer for 5, 10, 20 years while we wait for them to die of natural causes behind bars. Murderers have proven that they have no regard for the rights of others.

Ron Paul supports legalizing some drugs. Bad idea. I believe in stopping the flow of drugs into our Country by sealing our borders. At that point we can concentrate on the scumbags in our own Country who are making and selling illegal drugs, like meth. Is allowing people to do drugs legally going to lessen the drug problem in this Country? It would drastically reduce the number of people in prisons, but increase the number of people who should be in prison roaming the streets.

Those are the big ones.

What do you think?

The Grand Compromise

Someone in our government should recognize the absolute genius of Charles Krauthammer and put him to work for the good of our Country. I have never read a single word he has written that I didn't agree with. Without a doubt, he is smarter than the entire obama administration combined.

obama is quick to citicize the Ryan plan without offering anything of substance himself. It is standard operating procedure. Just like Libya, he refuses to make any kind of a plan that can be pinned directly to him. Instead he lets others do the heavy lifting and attempts to take the credit. What a small person he is.

He pulled the same stunt in congress, voting "present" on the tough votes to avoid a record that could be quoted later. But the silence in those "present" votes is deafening. He has spent his entire political career being non-commital yet critical of those who dare to make a commitment.

The rudimentary plan he did devise is more of the same liberal crap, tax and overspend. It's the only answer their limited range of vision can come up with.

2012 can't come soon enough for me. We need to clean house on election day...

by Charles Krauthammer - Human Events

The most serious charge against Rep. Paul Ryan's budget is not the risible claim, made most prominently by President Obama in his George Washington University address, that it would "sacrifice the America we believe in." The serious charge is that the Ryan plan fails by its own standards: Because it only cuts spending without raising taxes, it accumulates trillions of debt and doesn't balance the budget until the 2030s. If the debt is such a national emergency, they say, Ryan never really gets you there from here.

But the critics miss the point. You can't get there from here without Ryan's plan. It's the essential element. Of course Ryan is not going to propose tax increases. You don't need Republicans for that. That's what Democrats do. The president's speech was a prose poem to higher taxes -- with every allusion to spending cuts guarded by a phalanx of impenetrable caveats.

Ryan reduces federal spending by $6 trillion over 10 years -- from the current 24 percent of GDP to the historical post-World War II average of about 20 percent.

Now, the historical average for revenues over the last 40 years is between 18 percent and 19 percent of GDP. As we return to that level with the economic recovery (we're now at about 15 percent), Ryan would still leave us with an annual deficit in 2021 of 1.6 percent of GDP.

The critics are right to focus on that gap. But it is bridgeable. And the mechanism for doing so is in plain sight: tax reform.

Real tax reform strips out exclusions, deductions, credits and the innumerable loopholes that have accumulated since the last tax reform of 1986. The Simpson-Bowles commission, for example, identifies $1.1 trillion of such revenue-robbers. In one scenario, it strips them all out and thus is able to lower rates for everyone to three brackets of 8 percent, 14 percent and 23 percent.

The commission does recommend that, on average, about $100 billion annually of that $1.1 trillion be kept by the Treasury (rather than going back to the taxpayer) to reduce the deficit. This is a slight deviation from revenue neutrality, but it still yields a major cut for the top rate from the current 35 percent to 23 percent. The overall result is so reasonable and multiply beneficial that it rightly gained the concurrence of even the impeccably conservative (commission member) Sen. Tom Coburn.

That's the beauty of tax reform: It is both transparent and flexible. That flexibility and transparency can be applied to the Ryan plan. If you need a bit more deficit reduction to bridge the 1.6 percent GDP gap that remains after 10 years, you can get there by slightly raising the final rates.

Ryan's tax reform envisions three brackets with a top rate of 25 percent. There's nothing sacred about that number. In principle, you could raise all the rates slightly with the top rate going to, say, 28 percent -- the top rate that came out of Ronald Reagan's 1986 tax reform. You're still much lower than the current 35 percent. And yet that final boost could bring you closer to a fully balanced federal budget at roughly 20 percent of GDP.

Nor would any great conservative principle be violated. The historical average of revenues -- 18 percent to 19 percent of GDP -- could be raised one point or so on the perfectly reasonable grounds that we are a slightly older society, and that we wish to avail ourselves of the extraordinary but expensive medical technology that can increase both the quality and length of life.

This one concession would yield a fully balanced budget more quickly than Ryan's plan and would reduce the debt/GDP ratio even more steeply (because GDP would be growing, while debt would not). The effect on America's financial standing in the world would be dramatic: Restored confidence in U.S. fiscal health would reduce interest rates, which would lower the overall debt burden, which could allow lower taxes, which could stimulate yet more economic growth. A virtuous circle.

That's the finish line. But it starts with spending cuts. Serious cuts, as Ryan suggests -- not the smoke and mirrors the Obama speech shamelessly presented as a plan.

Given the Democrats' instinctive resort to granny-in-the-snow demagoguery, the Republicans are right not to budge on taxes until serious spending cuts are in place. At which point, the grand compromise awaits. And grand it would be. Saving the welfare state from insolvency is no small achievement.

Newt Gingrich Says President Obama is "Spectator in Chief"

I admit that Gingrich calling obama "spectator in chief" cracks me up. But the best part of this story is the comments that follow it. I've included a few of them after the article, but hit the link below and read more of them. It's getting more and more apparent that people are waking up and taking notice. It's about time too. I'm looking forward to 2012...

Newt Gingrich has taken time away from mulling his presidential run to take shots at President Obama. Gingrich fired at Obama, calling him a "spectator in chief" while accusing him of being passive in the face of crises in Japan and Libya.

Gingrich, considering a run for the presidency in 2012, joined other Republicans in criticizing the president, accusing him of sitting back too much in his response to major crisis situations, The Hill reported Wednesday.

"Well, I think what is increasingly clear is that we have a spectator in chief instead of a commander in chief," Gingrich said on Fox News.

"It is maybe the most passive and out-of-touch presidency in modern American history," he said, accusing the president of "avoiding his job right now."

Obama should be more active in his response to the political upheaval in Libya and the looming nuclear crisis in Japan, Gingrich said.

Other Republicans joined in with criticism of Obama's performance.

The National Republican Congressional Committee accused Obama of being "all talk, no action" when it comes to cutting spending.

"Actions speak louder than words," House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said.

"The question is not only what is the president saying, but what is he doing?" Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said of Obama's energy policies earlier this week.

First, lets not forget, the people elected a Community Organizer... what does everyone expect. Fortunately, I did not fall victim to his guise. Next, a quote out of the Czech Republic kinda sums it up:

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."
Okay... now I am really scared! I don't think I have ever read a more accurate description of the voting public! He was voted in out of political correctness and now we all see where that leads!
That is THE best description of the dismal state we are in at the moment. Our fearless leader merely reflects the foolishness of our country. Very, very sad indeed. The sadest part is that a great deal of the voting public still don't get it.
And the reason for these voters voting and falsely believing the lies told to them about what they will get for voting for these type of people is because of the indoctrination of socialism in our schools. Only until parents get their children OUT of public indoctrinational schools and homeschool or put in private schools will it stop. WHY do you think liberals on left DO NOT want school vouchers where parents can send children to whatever school they want? You think they would "choose" the liberal left socialist indoctrination schools??

The left has always hated homeschooling and has over the years added more and more rules for doing so. Just a matter of time now before they attempt to make it illegal. Just watch. More parents have pulled their children out of public schools and are homeschooling them than ever before & the left socialists don't like it one bit. Remember last year, Al Gore trying to indoctrinate school kids and stated "to the children" that your parents don't know as much as you do" and embedding in their minds that don't listen to them, they don't know anything. Evil evil coming from the left. No surprise here.
With absolutely no accomplishment during his stint in the senate, Obama won the presidency. For the first time in history a non-performer makes it to the top of the NAACP Ladder (just like basketball Folks)! He overcame all the reasons not to vote for him - his friendship with terrorist Bill Ayres; member of the Rev. Wright’s Church of Goddamn America; his dealings with a suspect land dealer and “indicted” fixer Tony Rezko and numerous links to Marxists, communists, criminals. These documented realities did not derail this half-black man’s agenda for becoming the Bilderberg Group’s flavor of the month “president of choice”. With the complicit adoration of CBS’s Katie Couric, NBC’s Brian Williams, Chris Matthews and jack-jaw advocate, Olbermann, and CNN’s Anderson Cooper. With the help of Colin Powell, George Soros, Kissinger, Buffet, King Fahd of Saudi Arabia amd the other puppet masters from the Bilderberg Group this freshman senator of no accomplishments, pulled away to a successful win. Obama realized the “political correctness” of the media sock puppets would offer no challenge to his validity. And now, America sees Obama’s race baiting, malfeasance, indifference and true mistaken nature of the Kenyan Kid. The goal of all Americans - White, Black, Asian or native American has to be to make Obama a one-term president. America wants a legitimate president next time!

Can Donald Trump Save America?

I don't know about you, but I have a hard time taking Donald Trump seriously as a presidential candidate. I'm not 100% convinced he takes it seriously either. Has he even announced a run? I remember Ross Perot. I always thought he would have made a good president. Business experience would be a big plus, but more than that is required. Donald Trump has done lots of work in foreign countries, he has an idea of what foreign policy should look like. I'm just afraid this is going to be a publicity stunt...

by Jason Mattera - Human Events

“Look at everything I’ve built,” he said, while pointing to framed pictures of palatial properties around the world, from Panama City to Abu Dhabi to Chicago. “Aren’t they beautiful?”

That’s Donald Trump for you: gregariously proud. And why shouldn’t he be? The hotels and condos he was boasting about are, in fact, beautiful. For that matter, so was the view overlooking Central Park from the 25th floor of Trump Tower in New York City.

And it is exactly that hard-charging bravado, candor, and proven track record that Trump believes could catapult him to the highest office in the land. “I have a big ID, big recognition, maybe the highest there is among any candidate, some say of any candidate including the President,” he brags.

Who can disagree with that? The real estate mogul is an American icon. There’s “The Apprentice,” “Celebrity Apprentice, “Miss Universe,” “Miss USA,” “Miss Teen USA,” his fashion line, the inestimable hair, and his awesomely awesome public feud with Rosie O’Donnell. (“She’s unattractive, both inside and out.”)

When you hear “The Donald,” you automatically know who’s being talked about. Now that’s cachet.

But President of the United States? Is that really in the realm of possibility for Donald Trump?

Several of us from HUMAN EVENTS spent 45 minutes with him at his Fifth Avenue luxury office in Manhattan. What you’re about to read is an account of how serious he is regarding a presidential run, an uncut look into the billionaire’s bluntness about America’s wilting image in the world, and what exactly he would do to revitalize it. He doesn’t run away from his criticism of the Bush administration, nor does he back down about his campaign contributions to influential Democrats over the years. He speaks on the importance of religion in his life (“I am a believer”), America’s crumbling infrastructure (LaGuardia Airport in NYC is “Third World”), his pro-life conversion, the declining dollar, entitlements (his plan to fund them is, um, novel), and much more. Some of his views will anger free-market purists and other views will draw sharp criticism from Iraq and Afghanistan war evangelists.

2012 Polling Starting Already...

I got a call last night from some polling firm. I didn't get a good sense of which side they were calling from. They asked a lot of questions about claire mccaskill and a possible running mate that I had never heard of. They asked about jay nixon and they insinuated that Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder may be his opponent.

I told them that I would vote for anyone running against mccaskill, even Mickey Mouse.

I haven't heard anything about Peter Kinder running, but I would damn sure vote for him over jay nixon. While nixon isn't as bad as, say, quinn in Illinois, but it's only a matter of time before he begins to do what democrats do.

I have said it before, I'll say it again, as election time gets closer, I will do anything I can to ensure that claire mccaskill is sent back to her nursing home business and as far away from politics as possible. I will make phone calls, I will knock on doors, whatever it takes.

Lately she has tried to act like a centrist. Just like every other true poitician, she is far more interested in her political future than taking care of the people she represents. She will do or say whatever it takes to get re-elected.

Newt Gingrich kicks around a run in 2012...

Would you vote for Newt Gingrich for president?

I'm back and forth on this. Newt seems to have turned into a rino lately. You used to be able to count on him taking a conservative position on every issue, not so much anymore.

There doesn't seem to be a front runner for the Republicans at this point, but Newt has the most recognizable name. His name isn't always spoken in a kind way though. If he were to become the candidate, I guess I would have to support him against obama, but I'm kind of hoping someone else emerges between now and decision time...

Pigford vs. Glickman - An interesting tale...

I got this in an email a couple of days. I thought it was worth sharing. There is more than one way to buy an election...

In 1997, 400 African-American farmers sued the United States Department of Agriculture, alleging that they had been unfairly denied USDA loans due to racial discrimination during the period 1983 to 1997." The case was entitled "Pigford v. Glickman" and in 1999, the black farmers won their case. The government agreed to pay each of them as much as $50,000 to settle their claims.

But then on February 23, 2010, something shocking happened in relation to that original judgment: In total silence, the USDA agreed to release more funds to "Pigford". The amount was a staggering......$1.25 billion. This was because the original number of plaintiffs - 400 black farmers - had now.. swollen in a class action suit to include a total of 86,000 black farmers throughout America. There was only one teensy problem: The United States of America doesn't have 86,000 black farmers!!!!

According to accurate and totally verifiable Official USDA 2007 Census census data, the total number of black farmers throughout America is only 39,697. Hmmm... by the Official USDA 1992 Census data the US had only 18,816 black farmers!!

Oops!! Well, gosh - how on earth did 39,697 explode into the fraudulent 86,000 claims?? And how did $50,000 explode into $1.25 billion??

Well, folks, you'll just have to ask the woman who not only spearheaded this case because of her position in 1997 at the "Rural Development Leadership Network" but whose family received the highest single payout (approximately $13 million) from that action - Shirley Sherrod.

Oops again !!

Yes, folks. It appears that Ms. Sherrod had just unwittingly exposed herself as the perpetrator of one of the biggest fraud claims in the history of the United States - - a fraud enabled solely because she screamed racism at the government and cowed them into submission.

And it gets even more interesting. Ms. Sherrod has also exposed the person who aided and abetted her in this race fraud. As it turns out, the original judgment of "Pigford v. Glickman" in 1999 only applied to a total of about 16,000 black farmers. But...in 2008, a junior US Senator got a law passed to reopen the case and allow more black farmers to sue for funds. The Senator was Barack Hussein Obama.

Because this law was passed in dead silence, and because the woman responsible for spearheading it was an obscure USDA official, American taxpayers did not realize that they had just been forced in the midst of a worldwide recession to pay out more than $1.25 billion to settle a race claim.

But Andy Breitbart knew. And July 22, 2010, he cleverly laid a trap which Sherrod - - and Obama + his cronies - - stumbled headfirst into which has now resulted in the entire world discovering the existence of this corrupt financial judgment.

As for Ms. Sherrod?? Well, she's discovering too late that her cry of 'racism' to the media which was intended to throw the spotlight on Breitbart has instead thrown that spotlight on herself - and the huge corruption. Sherrod has vanished from public view.

But the perpetrator of that law passed in dead silence leading to unlawful claims & corruption..... is still trying to fool all of US. Go to Google and read for yourself "Pigford vs. Glickman", or "Pigford Obama".

As some have said, "The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President."

http://biggovernment.com/ghewson/2010/12/06/pigford-obamas-down-payment-on-the-2012-rural-south-vote/

There are many more ...Why haven't we heard more about this??
