Obama Attack Dog Axelrod Barks Up Wrong Tree at Va. Gov. McDonnell

This is very typical of the obama administration. When faced with a situation they don't understand or can't explain, like the case of the success of Gov. Bob McDonnell in Virginia, they immediately lie. They make up things with no basis in fact, but, it puts Bob McDonnell on the defensive. He is forced to prove that he is the one that is correct, but by then the five minutes allotted by the TV show is over and people walk away confused or convinced that what the obama thug said is true.

It has to be frustrating for everyone who encounters it. The record, to date, of Bob McDonnell speaks for itself. There is no denying that his State has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the Country. There is also no denying that he has a 62% approval rating.

david axelrod is just another obama stooge thug. We will be rid of him and his boss in 2012. It can't come too soon...

by  Jason Mattera - Human Events

When the smarmy David Axelrod is going out of his way to attack you on national television, be of good cheer. That means that you’re an effective critic of the Obama administration. The Chicago knives come out only when the threat is real. Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell can attest to that.

Recently he and Axelrod were guests on NBC’s low-rated “Meet the Press.” McDonnell was there to tout his state’s impressive economic numbers: two straight years of budget surpluses, unemployment hovering at 6%, increased government revenue and the expansion of businesses in the commonwealth.

With an economy that’s still limping along, you’d think that Axelrod would join McDonnell in heralding Virginia, which boasts the eighth-lowest unemployment rate among all the states. But that, you see, would require Obama’s attack dog to acknowledge, at least tacitly, that his boss’s expensive government programs have failed. Big-time. GOP Gov. McDonnell got Virginia back on track by shrinking his state’s influence on the people, the exact opposite of what’s been going on at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

So Axelrod is forced to spin Virginia’s economic about-face in a way that would impress any roller coaster enthusiast. Speaking to McDonnell on “Meet the Press,” he carped, “You balanced the budget with $1.7 billion in money from the Recovery Act, you balanced your budget by borrowing $3 billion against future receipts on transportation … you borrowed money from your pension plan that you’re gonna have to return.”

There you have it: In those few sentences went Axelrod’s attempt to show McDonnell and Obama are alike. A lot alike. Spending and borrowing work! Look at Virginia.

Except, not really.

“David was just flat wrong. I mean, he’s a guy from Chicago who's lived his whole life inside the Beltway. He doesn’t understand Virginia government,” McDonnell told HUMAN EVENTS in an exclusive interview. “I think his handlers gave him some talking points."

“The bottom line is we had a $6 billion deficit over the last two years, and largely through cutting spending we balanced the budget and had a surplus, and Washington doesn’t.”

McDonnell continued:

“Governors are making great strides now, making the tough calls and balancing their budgets. That’s a foreign concept to David Axelrod and the people inside the Beltway who haven’t balanced the budget in years and years.”

As it turns out, one of Axelrod’s handlers really did give him bad information, or Axelrod knew that he was playing loose with the facts, both very possible scenarios. On allegedly raiding billions from the Virginia Retirement System, the borrowing was codified before McDonnell even took office. Moreover, the money “borrowed” wasn’t incorporated into his 2010 budget. Thus, McDonnell ran a budget surplus in his first year without borrowing any money from the pension fund, which, remember, he never authorized to begin with.

Regardless, McDonnell put additional funding into the budget to accelerate the payments back into the Virginia Retirement System. In fact, deferrals are expected to be paid off faster than originally planned, his office tells us.

So there is that.

On Axelrod’s accusation that McDonnell ransacked the transportation fund, well, I’ll let McDonnell explain that one. Take it away, Governor:

“That was for transportation [and] infrastructure, and not ongoing operations. And that’s the problem with Washington. They’re taking out the federal government credit card to fund operations. We use a very small amount of debt to fund capital infrastructure. And that’s what you do: You mortgage your house, but you don’t use the credit card. When you’re buying pencils, pens and paint for daily expenses, you’ve got to have the cash to pay for it. And that’s the fundamental difference.”

All the President's Funny Money

obama is a thug and a criminal. How in the hell is this guy president of our Country? Read this article. If this doesn't totally piss you off, you need to have your head examined. The rules simply do not apply to obama. He doesn't bend them, he shatters them, and then laughs at us. This guy should be in prison instead of the whitehouse...

by Michelle Malkin - Human Events

Ka-ching, ka-ching, ka-ching. President Obama's perpetual campaign cash-o-matic machine kicks into high gear again this week as the celebrity-in-chief heads to Hollywood for several high-priced fundraisers. But while the Democrats' 2012 re-election team stuffs its hands into every liberal deep pocket in sight, questions about the Obama 2008 campaign finance operation still fester.

Last week, the laggard watchdogs at the Federal Election Commission announced an audit of the Obama 2008 campaign committee -- which raised a record-setting $750 million. White House flacks are downplaying the probe as a "routine review."

But there's nothing routine about the nearly $3 million Obama has spent on legal expenses to address federal campaign finance irregularities and inquiries. Roll Call reports that Obama's campaign legal fees have exceeded all other House and presidential campaign committees, including members of Congress under ethics investigations.

There's nothing routine about the whopping $6 million that Team Obama has refunded to individual donors since Obama took office.

And there's nothing routine about the 26 warning letters to Obama for America totaling "more than 1,500 pages of questions and data that outlined compliance concerns -- including the longest one ever sent to a presidential candidate," according to Roll Call.

Among the Obama 2008 campaign committee's shadiest transactions that have gone unpunished:

-- Foreign funny money. Federal election law bans foreign nationals from contributing to American candidates. But during 2008, the Obama campaign was forced to return an illegal foreign donation worth $31,100 made by two brothers in the Gaza Strip, and even mainstream news outlets reported that candidate Obama's money-handlers had routinely failed to verify citizenship by checking donors' passports. As the Associated Press reported at the time: "One donor, Tom Sanderson of Canada, made clear his $500 contribution came from a foreign source. He included a note that said, 'I am not an American citizen!' Obama's campaign took the money anyway..."

Another illegal foreign donor, Australian Richard Watters, contributed $1,000, "entering a fake U.S. passport number -- a random jumble of numbers and letters" onto the Obama donation website. "He said he also checked a box stating that he was an American living overseas, 'because I could see it wasn't going anywhere if I didn't do that.'"

Obama raked in at least $2 million in overseas donations.

-- Online donor credit-card fraud. Weeks before the 2008 presidential election, investigative journalist Ken Timmerman blew the whistle on rampant phony straw contributors slipping through the Obama donation site. Just one example: "Mr. Good Will" from Austin, Texas. Mr. Good Will listed his employer as "Loving" and his profession as "You." Timmerman's analysis of 1.4 million individual donations to the Obama campaign discovered "1,000 separate entries for Mr. Good Will, most of them for $25. In total, Mr. Good Will gave $17,375. Following this and subsequent FEC requests, campaign records show that 330 contributions from Mr. Good Will were credited back to a credit card. But the most recent report, filed on Sept. 20, showed a net cumulative balance of $8,950 -- still well over the $4,600 limit."

Subsequent digging by conservative bloggers found that the Obama campaign's donor website appeared to intentionally disable security protocols and facilitate illegal donations with bogus names, shell addresses and untraceable credit cards. Among Obama's online "donors": Bart Simpson, Family Guy, Daffy Duck, King Kong, O.J. Simpson, Mr. Doodad Pro, John Galt, Della Ware, Crazy Eight and Adolfe Hitler.

-- Social justice funny money. In 2008, the Obama campaign wrote checks totaling more than $800,000 to a nonprofit offshoot of ACORN called Citizens Services Inc. The campaign claimed the money went to nonpartisan get-out-the-vote services. But receipts showed the funds paid for polling, advance work and event staging supplied by a nonprofit that supposedly does simple canvassing work on behalf of low-income people. The FEC allowed Obama to wave his magic wand and amend the records to change political expenses into non-political ones. As a Republican National Committee staffer commented at the time: "For a candidate who claims to be practicing 'new' politics, his FEC reports look an awful lot like the 'old-style' Chicago politics of yesterday."

On a related front, ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief filed an FEC complaint last year over illegal coordination between ACORN and the Obama campaign. MonCrief publicly released Obama donor lists supplied to ACORN affiliate Project Vote, which were allegedly used to target maxed-out presidential donors. The scheme involved converting the expenditures by Project Vote, ACORN and ACORN-affiliated entities to illegal, excessive corporate contributions to the Obama presidential campaign, in violation of federal law.

Nothing to see here, move along? The only "routine" business as usual being conducted here is Chicago-style self-exemption business as usual: Rules are for fools. Let the crooked cash flow in.

EXCLUSIVE: DHS Can’t Account for 10 Libyan Men It Caught and Released Inside U.S.

After two weeks of inquiries about the Libyans from CNSNews.com, ICE finally responded on Thursday afternoon that it had already released to CNSNews.com all the information that was “available” on these Libyans and that the agency had “nothing more to add on the matter.”

ICE describes itself as “the principal investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the second largest investigative agency in the federal government.” It says its “primary mission is to promote homeland security and public safety through the criminal and civil enforcement of federal laws governing border control, customs, trade, and immigration.”

The information about the unaccounted-for Libyans derives from a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request that CNSNews.com filed with ICE on Dec. 1, 2010. This FOIA request asked for records about non-Mexican foreign nationals processed by ICE in fiscal years 2009 and 2010.

On Jan. 28, 2011, ICE responded to the FOIA request by providing CNSNews.com with two Excel spreadsheets including information about 286,769 non-Mexican foreign nationals processed by the agency over the two years. One Excel spreadsheet contained information on 143,543 non-Mexican aliens processed by ICE in fiscal 2009, and another Excel spreadsheet contained information about 143,206 non-Mexican aliens processed by ICE in fiscal 2010.

The Excel spreadsheets did not include the names of the aliens, but did include eight columns of information about them. These columns included: 1) the “book in” date on which the alien had been detained, 2) the “book out” date on which the alien had been released from detention, 3) the ICE geographical “area of responsibility” in which the alien had been detained, 4) the alien’s "case status,” 5) the alien’s “case category,” 6) the alien’s date of birth, 7) the alien’s gender, and 8) the alien’s country of citizenship.

In all 286,769 cases, ICE had redacted the unnamed alien’s date of birth from the version of the database released to CNSNews.com citing the (b)(6) and (b)(7)(C) exemptions under FOIA. As ICE explained in a letter to CNSNews.com, these exemptions allow the government to withhold information from a FOIA response if releasing it would be an “unwarranted invasion of privacy.”

Generally, the spreadsheet entry for an alien detained by ICE included information in each of the other seven columns. For example, the first alien listed in the database is a 1) female, 2) Nicaraguan, 3) booked in by ICE on Oct. 29, 2008, 4) in the St. Paul, Minn. area of responsibility, 5) who was booked out on Nov. 19, 2008, 6) whose “case category” was “[8C] Excludable / Inadmissible--Administrative Final Order Issued,” and 7) whose “case status” was “8-Excluded/Removed--Inadmissibility.”

The spreadsheets also generally indicated when an alien had been granted some form of relief or given permanent resident status in the United States. For example, a Honduran man detained in the San Antonio area on April 8, 2009 and held in custody until Sept. 16, 2009, was marked as having a case category of “Excludable/Inadmissable,” but after his case was adjudicated by an immigration judge, his case status column was marked “L-Legalization--Permanent Residence Granted.”

The spreadsheets included a total of 27 citizens of Libya who were processed by ICE in 2009 and 2010. All 27 were men.

The spreadsheet entries for 15 of these 27 Libyan men had information in all seven columns, showing when they had been booked in, when they had been booked out, and what had happened to their cases.

The spreadsheet entries for another two of the Libyan men do not make clear if they were ever booked out. One of these two, who was booked in by ICE on July 25, 2009, in the Buffalo, N.Y. area, had a five-digit number --“40050”—in his “Book Out Date” column. His “Case Category” and “Case Status” column were left blank.

The other of these two, who was booked in by ICE on Sept. 30, 2009 in the Denver, Colo. area, had a blank in his “Book Out Date” column as well as blanks in his “Case Category” and “Case Status” column.

Obama Administration Unveils Internet ID Plan

Back in January, Marc Cote sent me an article about this. I don't think any differently about it now than I did then. I think this is nothing more than an attempt by obama and his gang of thugs to silence the voices of opposition through forcing real names to be attched to online identification. They will either legislate or intimidate the blogosphere into silence and submission.

There is no good reason for the federal government to be involved in internet privacy. As a matter of fact, this is the very last group I would want in charge of my privacy. They care nothing for us or our privacy, exactly the opposite appears to be true. obama and his thugs want to have access to your private information. Once they have access to your online identity, their professional hackers can gain access to your financial records, any criminal records, your surfing habits, all the dirty little secrets. How do you think they will use that information? Any damn way they please...

From FoxNews

The Commerce Dept. unveiled a plan Friday to create a national cyber-identity system that would give consumers who opt in a single secure password and identity for all their digital transactions.

The National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC) will be a voluntary system designed to protect consumers from online fraud and identity theft -- which hit 8.1 million people last year, at a total cost of $27 billion. The problem: The current system of half-remembered passwords jotted down on post-it notes and based on pets and maiden names simply isn't good enough.

"Passwords just won't cut it here," said Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, who announced the initiative at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “We must do more to help consumers protect themselves, and we must make it more convenient than remembering dozens of passwords,” he said.

The "identity ecosystem" will create secure online IDs for Americans who elect to join the program, giving them a single credential -- such as a unique piece of software on a smart phone, a smart card, or a token that generates a one-time digital password -- which they can use to log on to a variety of websites.

Instead of having to remember all those disparate passwords, one for each site that conducts a secure transaction, a consumer would use that single credential to log in, with far more security than a password alone would provide, the agency said.

That log in could be anything: a smart card, a cell phone, a keychain fob, or some other type of gizmo.

And if a user so chooses, they can elect to have several log-ins from different credential providers. Want a key fob from Google and cell phone software from Verisign? Go for it, both will work -- though having two would reduce the simplicity factor, of course.

Religion of peace - revisited...

Last Friday I posted about the attacks in Afghanistan against the u.n. compound over the burning of the koran by a pastor in Florida.

A visitor named Milz left this comment -
I like the radical thought, however there is a difference. Misguided and uneducated people form most of the people who undertake the uncouthful deeds. There is always a second side of the coin and I think people should take a step back to look on to it.

Milz
I thought about that a bit today, and while it is true that the majority of the people in Afghanistan are a bunch of misguided and uneducated savages, that isn't true of all muslim terrorist scumbags.

For example, osama bin laden studied economics and business administration at King Abdulaziz University. Some reports suggest bin Laden earned a degree in civil engineering in 1979.

khalid sheikh mohammed attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and completed a degree in mechanical engineering in 1986.

mohamed atta studied architecture at Cairo University, graduating in 1990, and continued his studies in Hamburg, Germany at the Technical University of Hamburg.

ramzi yousef enrolled at Swansea Institute in Wales where he studied electrical engineering, graduating four years later. He also studied at the Oxford College of Further Education to improve his English.

wail al-shehri graduated from abha teachers college in 1999 and  took a job as an elementary school physical education teacher at the khamis mushait airbase.

abdulaziz al-omari  graduated with honours from high schooland then attained a degree from the imam muhammad ibn saud islamic university.

majed moqed was a law student from the small town of al-nakhil, saudi arabia (west of medina), studying at king fahd university's faculty of administration and economics.

While the guys listed above may not be typical of the terrorist scumbags around the world, they are/were still terrorist scumbags and they are all highly educated. Some of them from prominent families with many of the same opportunities young people in the United States have. Yet the chose to be terrorists. Pick a name from the list above and do a little research, you'll see what I mean.

There are millions and millions of uneducated people all over the planet who never choose a life of terrorism. Most of those people are born with the ability to distinguish the difference between right and wrong, good and evil. It seems that that ability in many muslims is either broken or doesn't exist...

The ObamaCare Bailouts

Every week or two we find out some new, nasty little easter egg in obamacare. obama and the thugs writing this legislation were very thorough in making sure every single supporter got their fair share of our tax dollars. I didn't think anything about obamacare could piss me off more than what I already was. I was wrong. With each new revelation about how we are being screwed I get even more mad.

It's no wonder they rushed this through in the middle of the night. Had the public been given an opportunity to fully understand to what extent our own government was willing to put it to us, there might have been some tar and feathers involved. For as nasty as I know the obama administration is, some of these things shock me. I didn't know that was possible.

I just can't get over how insulting it all is. They absolutely take us all for fools...

by John Hayward - Human Events

Hidden treasures for public unions and well-connected corporations.

Back when ObamaCare was being shoved down America’s throat, Nancy Pelosi assured us we needed to pass it to “find out what’s in it.” The House Energy and Commerce Committee, chaired by Republican Fred Upton of Michigan, just found something else that was hidden in it: “a $5 billion bailout fund for state governments, Fortune 500 companies, and Hollywood unions that is rapidly going bankrupt after doling out half a billion dollars much more quickly than anticipated.”

That five billion in funding, by the way, is roughly the same as the amount allocated to the high-risk pool for people with pre-existing conditions – ostensibly the major reason we detonated ObamaCare and destroyed the American health insurance system. It’s going to end up costing taxpayers a lot more than $5 billion, because “so far, fewer than 5 percent of the organizations ‘approved’ to participate in the program have received funds.”

The bailout fund is formally known as the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program. It’s a federal subsidy to “employers and unions that provide health coverage to early retirees.” According to the committee’s analysis, “The ERRP reimburses the employer 80 percent of the actual cost of an early retiree’s health expenses between $15,000 and $90,000,” based on “qualified claims beginning on or after June 1, 2010.”

The Energy and Commerce report notes that “Like many provisions and accounting gimmicks in the health care law, it has largely escaped public scrutiny because of the sheer volume of programs and spending crammed into the law without scrutiny or Congressional oversight.” In other words, nobody has really paid much attention to where the money went.

Naturally, a lot of that crazy unsupervised money ended up in the hands of public unions. Over one third of the $535 million spent in 2010 went to five public union benefit and pension plans, in California, New Jersey, Georgia, Kentucky, and Texas. 56% of all funds distributed in 2010 went to government organizations. Over five thousand entities have been approved for EERP bailouts, and 47% of them are government organizations.

Shh! Obama gets anti-secrecy award

If this doesn't describe the obama regime perfectly, I don't know what does. He accepted a "transparency" award in secret.... hahahahahahahahaha, omg, hahahahahahaha. What a crock of shit. Transparency award? You have got to be shitting me! This is the most secret, backstabbing, underhanded, crooked administration in the history of our Country. We are talking about the same administration that screens freedom of information requests and actually does background checks on people requesting the information. The very same people that bribed and extorted congresscritters for their votes on obamacare. The very same administration that went to war with libya without consulting with the American people or congress.

I guess he can hang this on the wall right next to his nobel prize. That's going to be the wall of shit he didn't deserve...

President obama finally and quietly accepted his “transparency” award from the open government community this week — in a closed, undisclosed meeting at the White House on Monday.

The secret presentation happened almost two weeks after the White House inexplicably postponed the ceremony, which was expected to be open to the press pool.

This time, obama met quietly in the Oval Office with Gary Bass of OMB Watch, Tom Blanton of the National Security Archive, Danielle Brian of the Project on Government Oversight, Lucy Dalglish of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, and Patrice McDermott of OpenTheGovernment.org, without disclosing the meeting on his public schedule or letting photographers or print reporters into the room.

“Our understanding going into the meeting was that it would have a pool photographer and a print reporter, and it turned out to be a private meeting,” Bass told POLITICO. “He was so on point, so on target in the conversation with us, it is baffling why he would not want that message to be more broadly heard by reporters and the public interest community and the public generally.”

Just hours before the White House put off the original event, White House press secretary jay carney was defiant in his defense of obama’s transparency record against criticism that it might have been premature.

“This president has demonstrated a commitment to transparency and openness that is greater than any administration has shown in the past, and he’s been committed to that since he ran for President and he’s taken a significant number of measures to demonstrate that,” Carney said in a testy exchange with Fox News reporter Wendell Goler on March 16.

The transparency advocates who presented the award to obama say that the recognition is important, because despite the work left to be done, obama has done a lot to change the government’s posture toward openness issues.

Schumer coordinates Dem budget attack on GOP

I'm sure that Republicans do some of this themselves, but I just can't see them being as devious and underhanded as democrats. democrats spend millions of dollars doing focus groups and studies to find these hot button words. These are words that are supposed to make us angry. Actually these words do make me angry, angry at the democrat thugs who try to play stupid mind games and manipulate us into believing what they say. Don't fall for the stupid games people. And when you hear these people speak, remember that they are trying to use tricks to twist your thinking, then judge their words on that...

By: Susan Ferrechio - The Washington Examiner

Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., a member of the Democratic Senate leadership, got on a conference call with reporters Tuesday morning without realizing the reporters were already listening in. Schumer thought he was on a private line with four Democratic senators who were to talk with reporters about the current budget stalemate.

Schumer instructed the group, made up of Sens. Barbara Boxer of California, Tom Carper of Delaware, Ben Cardin of Maryland and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, to tell reporters that the GOP is refusing to negotiate.

He told the group to make sure they label the GOP spending cuts as "extreme."

"I always use extreme, Schumer said. "That is what the caucus instructed me to use."

Someone must have finally told Schumer that the media were listening and he stopped talking midsentence.

Here's a bit more of what he said about House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, according to my notes.

"The main thrust is basically that we want to negotiate and we want to come up with a compromise but the Tea Party is pulling Boehner too far over to the right and so far over that there is no more fruitful negotiations," Schumer said on the call. "The only way we can avoid a shutdown is for Boehner to come up with a reasonable compromise and not just listen to what the Tea Party wants. "

Iowa Safety Drill Portraying Shooter as 'Anti-Immigration' Pro-Gun Student Canceled

Why did it have to be an "anti-immigration, pro-gun" guy? Why didn't they go with something that is realistic? Seriously, there are all kinds of actual threats out there. They could have made it a scumbag muslim terrorist - very believable. They could have made it a bat-shit crazy dumbass who has had several run ins with the law that were ignored because a family member works for the government - also believable. They could have made it an idiot liberal teacher about to lose their tenure or forced to pay a fair share of their benefits - very believable. Or they could have made the bad guy an seiu thug - also very believable.

But instead, they made it a pro-gun person. Hmm, when, exactly is the last time we heard of a person fitting this description freaking out and mowing down a bunch of innocent school children? Let me see... How about never.

These anti-gun goons can try to spin things anyway they want, but the evidence just doesn't back them up. It's sad really. Why can't they put all that effort into something that is going to make a difference in the world?

By Diane Macedo - FoxNews

An emergency drill that was to play out the scenario of an “anti-immigration” pro-gun student going on a racially-motivated shooting spree at an Iowa school has been canceled due to threats, officials said Friday.

“During the last 24 hours, the Treynor school system has received threats to their employees and buildings due to the planned 'active shooter' exercise, " PottawattamieTreynor School District and the Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office, we have jointly decided to cancel the exercise due to these threats which we must consider viable.”

Operation Closed Campus was designed to ensure school officials, emergency responders and support organizations are prepared in the event they face a school shooting, according to the Pottawattamie County Emergency Management Agency.

The agency, along with the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program, distributed an exercise plan Wednesday to detail exactly how the drill -- to be held at Treynor High School and involving roughly 300 people, local police, hospitals and the Red Cross -- would be carried out.

Along with logistics, the exercise plan also detailed the fictitious backstory behind the mock shootings, which began with the premise:

“In the past 6 months, the City of Treynor and Treynor Community School District has received a significant influx of minority residents,” causing “controversy regarding national immigration policies as well as racial tensions with a few embedded, typically silent, white supremacy affiliates.”

Based on those tensions, a white 18-year-old high school senior who “has been seen with anti-immigration demonstrators” and whose family “is known to be firearm enthusiasts, if not fanatics” starts a fight with a group of minority students “blurting racial slurs and that he is tired of them moving in and stealing jobs and money from Americans” then “pulls a handgun from his waistband, shooting one of the minority students.”

A 17-year-old friend of the shooter then joins him in "firing upon anyone in their path and chasing down anyone who is against their ill-perceived stand,” the plan said.

Critics said organizers were clearly using the drill as a way to portray gun owners and opponents of illegal immigration as terrorists. And some question whether the same motives are behind the cancellation, too.

Cleveland, Texas rape case...

In case you haven't heard, there is a big rape case being investigated in the small East Texas town of Cleveland. It appears at least 18 black males repeatedly raped an 11 year old hispanic girl over the course of several months.

Some of the accused are star athletes at the local high school the others appear to run of the mill thugs, most with criminal records. As you can imagine, the case has gone from bad to worse. The victim, an 11 year old child remember, is being accused of all sorts of things. It has been claimed that she made posts on social networking sites claiming she wanted all the sex she could get, etc.

Of course, the families of the accused have come out claiming they are all good boys. It was all the victim's fault. The head of the new black panther party from Houston, quanell x, has gotten involved. It is turning it to quite a circus. But then anything involving the black panthers usually does. At this point it wouldn't surprise me to see obama and eric holder get involved. Maybe saying the victim acted stupidly and dropping all charges.

You know, it doesn't matter at all what the victim did or didn't do. It wouldn't have mattered if she walked down the street completely naked, she is an 11 year old child. Every single one of these thugs, star athlete or not, should be convicted and sentenced to the maximum penalty that the law will allow. She is an 11 year old child! The accused range in age from 16 to mid 20's. Each and every one of them should do hard time for this.

I know the town of Cleveland well. I lived and worked there and in the vicinity for most of my life. When I read this story I was shocked. Cleveland is not a bad town. Or it wasn't 10 years ago. Many of the stories I have read on this have been followed up by comments from people who aren't from the area and most aren't even from Texas. There were some very hateful remarks made about the entire town. It's not fair. You can't blame the entire town for the actions of a few (well, around 20) scumbag thugs. These criminals will get what they have coming, one way or another, and life will go on. There are good people in Cleveland and they don't deserve the treatment they are getting.

Battle Grows Over Obama Administration's Health Care Law Accounting

Senator Grassley called this "intellectual dishonesty", I'll agree with the dishonesty part, but there is no "intellectual" to this administration. And actually, I can't even agree with the dishonesty part. It is an outright lie. These thugs are trying to play mind games, bait and switch, a very very expensive shell game...

They are counting on the fact that we haven't paid attention for many years and that we won't start now. Well, surprise you bunch of lying criminals! We are paying attention. Any attempt at deflection at this point will only work on your mind numb liberal cohorts.

Those of us that have been shocked awake by your socialist agenda will never go to sleep again...

By Eve Zibel - FoxNews

It was only a few minutes in the making but comments last week by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on Capitol Hill have set off a firestorm of criticism around President Obama’s health care law and how the law, when it’s finally implemented, will have “double counted” on Medicare -- and, therefore, does not have the savings once predicted by the White House.

“The Affordable Care Act adds 12 years to the Medicare trust fund, according to every actuary, and the $500 billion represents a slowdown in the growth rate of Medicare over 10 years from what was projected at 8 percent to a growth rate,” Sebelius said during questioning by Rep. John Shimkus, R-Ill.

But, as Shimkus pushed the issue, asking for Sebelius to explain if the president was using the $500 billion to save Medicare or fund health care reform, Sebelius added one word – “both.” And that word has made many more nervous than ever about the health care law, as they say it sounds like double counting, or using money from one program to count into another, which does not equal savings.

As previously reported by Fox News, more than half the total financing for the health care reform legislation comes from the $500 billion in cuts to the entitlement program. But since the White House began its health care sell, critics have said the president is misleading Americans, because the “cuts” actually are set aside to pay for other programs.

“Quite frankly I would say that it's intellectually dishonest. You can’t have it both ways, cut and then spend someplace else and say that you're preserving Medicare,” Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, said earlier this year when the double counting was first reported by Fox News.

I hate that "You're getting screwed" feeling...

Yesterday, after work, I decided to check the air pressure in my tires. I drug the compressor out of the garage and got it all warmed up. I checked the passenger side front, it was a little low so I added a few pounds. I got to the passenger side rear and the wierd metal cap wouldn't come off. It's been nasty here so I figured the mud and snow just had it stuck. A little persuasion with a pair of Channel Locks should do the trick...

Well, guess what? Gave it a little twist and it snapped off, launching the valve stem across the driveway. I watch the air rush out and the tire go flat.

I break out the floor jack and four way and put on my tiny ghetto spare. I don't care much for driving with those damn things. Don't trust them and I don't know why.

This morning, after a nervous drive to work, I go right down the street to NTB. I show the guy my problem, he says they can fix it, no problem, but that the new air pressure sensor valve stem would be like $168 bucks. WTF? He gives me a quote to fix the tire and balance the two front tires of a little better than $260 bucks. I started getting that "I'm getting screwed" feeling right about then.

I went back to work and called the Chevy dealer that I have done business with for 19 years. I didn't call them first because NTB was closer and like I said, I don't like those tiny spares.

The Service Writer at McCarthy Chevrolet told me he could do the work for about $115 bucks. So away I go.

As it turns out, they did it for $98 bucks and they did it while I waited.

The moral of this story, well, there are two, first, fuck NTB. I will NEVER do business with them in the future. I don't care if I have to drive another 100 miles to do business with their competitor that's what I will do. I could understand if there were $20 or $30 dollars difference in the price, but $162 is blatantly a rip off. And second, stick with what you know. In all the time I have been doing business with McCarthy Chevrolet, I have never felt I was being screwed over. I have purchased two new cars from them and had service done on 5 or 6 different vehicles.

On cars made before about 1975, I do my own work. I'm not an expert, but I can get most things done on the first or second try. But the newer ones, with computers and weird electronic stuff, I leave that to the experts. It's a whole lot cheaper to have them fix it than to have them fix it and all the other stuff I jacked up trying to fix it...

Government Waste By the Numbers: Report Identifies Dozens of Overlapping Programs

My blog is a little over two years old now, and I have been saying since almost day one, that there is no accountability in washington. There is no system of checks and balances. There is no adult supervision. We send billions and billions of our hard earned dollars to these dumbasses every year in the form of taxes and nobody cares enough about us to pay attention to how it is spent.

And it's not just the overlap of stupid programs, it's the fraud and outright theft that bothers me even more. There are plenty of government employees who know how to manipulate the system. They know how to funnel millions of dollars of these overlapping funds into their own pocket. They are 100% aware that there is no reliable system in place to track their government credit card purchases. The list goes on and on. And even when these thugs are caught they are rarely prosecuted and they usually pay back a very small portion of what they have stolen. And thanks to the unions, many of them even get to keep their jobs! How does that work? If I was caught stealing from my job, not only would I rightly be terminated, I would more than likely wind up in jail. Why do we continue to put up with this?

We trust our elected officials to be good stewards of our money. We trust them to make good hiring decisions, by hiring trustworthy people. We are getting screwed in this deal. Sometimes I doubt their is an honest person in our entire government. I'm sure there are some, somewhere, I think the good guys are outnumbered though.

Go over to FoxNews and read the rest of this story. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Can you begin to imagine all of the programs they haven't discovered yet? The people we trust waste TRILLIONS of our tax dollars every year and then they wonder why the budget and deficit are so far out of whack. If we ran our household budgets like washington manages our tax money, can you imagine the chaos?

From FoxNews

The federal government hosts 47 job-training programs, 44 of which overlap. It runs 80 programs for the "transportation disadvantaged."

Another 82 programs spread across 10 separate agencies endeavor to improve teacher quality -- something hundreds of local school districts are already focused on.

These are just a few of the findings in a blockbuster report on government waste and inefficiencies released by the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office. The report identifies billions of dollars in potential savings if Congress just had the will to streamline initiatives that target politically popular causes.

Though lawmakers in both parties have long struggled to eliminate the common culprits of waste, fraud and abuse, they seized on the findings Tuesday. House Republican Leader Eric Cantor vowed to "get our fiscal house in order" in light of the report.

"Now again, we have said enough is enough. Our Congress is about delivering results," Cantor said.

"This report confirms what most Americans assume about their government. We are spending trillions of dollars every year and nobody knows what we are doing. The executive branch doesn't know. The congressional branch doesn't know. Nobody knows," Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., said in a statement Tuesday morning. "This report also shows we could save taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars every year without cutting services."

The well-timed release comes as Republicans and Democrats fight over how much to cut from the rest of this year's budget, not to mention next year's $3.73 trillion spending plan. Democrats have so far balked at GOP plans to cut $61 billion from the 2010 fiscal year budget. But while both parties are squabbling over a relatively small slice of the budget pie -- discretionary spending -- the GAO report suggests Congress could keep cutting and leave the operation of government intact.

Pigford vs. Glickman - An interesting tale...

I got this in an email a couple of days. I thought it was worth sharing. There is more than one way to buy an election...

In 1997, 400 African-American farmers sued the United States Department of Agriculture, alleging that they had been unfairly denied USDA loans due to racial discrimination during the period 1983 to 1997." The case was entitled "Pigford v. Glickman" and in 1999, the black farmers won their case. The government agreed to pay each of them as much as $50,000 to settle their claims.

But then on February 23, 2010, something shocking happened in relation to that original judgment: In total silence, the USDA agreed to release more funds to "Pigford". The amount was a staggering......$1.25 billion. This was because the original number of plaintiffs - 400 black farmers - had now.. swollen in a class action suit to include a total of 86,000 black farmers throughout America. There was only one teensy problem: The United States of America doesn't have 86,000 black farmers!!!!

According to accurate and totally verifiable Official USDA 2007 Census census data, the total number of black farmers throughout America is only 39,697. Hmmm... by the Official USDA 1992 Census data the US had only 18,816 black farmers!!

Oops!! Well, gosh - how on earth did 39,697 explode into the fraudulent 86,000 claims?? And how did $50,000 explode into $1.25 billion??

Well, folks, you'll just have to ask the woman who not only spearheaded this case because of her position in 1997 at the "Rural Development Leadership Network" but whose family received the highest single payout (approximately $13 million) from that action - Shirley Sherrod.

Oops again !!

Yes, folks. It appears that Ms. Sherrod had just unwittingly exposed herself as the perpetrator of one of the biggest fraud claims in the history of the United States - - a fraud enabled solely because she screamed racism at the government and cowed them into submission.

And it gets even more interesting. Ms. Sherrod has also exposed the person who aided and abetted her in this race fraud. As it turns out, the original judgment of "Pigford v. Glickman" in 1999 only applied to a total of about 16,000 black farmers. But...in 2008, a junior US Senator got a law passed to reopen the case and allow more black farmers to sue for funds. The Senator was Barack Hussein Obama.

Because this law was passed in dead silence, and because the woman responsible for spearheading it was an obscure USDA official, American taxpayers did not realize that they had just been forced in the midst of a worldwide recession to pay out more than $1.25 billion to settle a race claim.

But Andy Breitbart knew. And July 22, 2010, he cleverly laid a trap which Sherrod - - and Obama + his cronies - - stumbled headfirst into which has now resulted in the entire world discovering the existence of this corrupt financial judgment.

As for Ms. Sherrod?? Well, she's discovering too late that her cry of 'racism' to the media which was intended to throw the spotlight on Breitbart has instead thrown that spotlight on herself - and the huge corruption. Sherrod has vanished from public view.

But the perpetrator of that law passed in dead silence leading to unlawful claims & corruption..... is still trying to fool all of US. Go to Google and read for yourself "Pigford vs. Glickman", or "Pigford Obama".

As some have said, "The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President."

There are many more ...Why haven't we heard more about this??

Wisconsin battle gets ugly...

It's funny really, it's always liberals trying to paint conservatives as violent and hateful, but it always turns out to be the opposite.

In Wisconsin, the protestors against the Governor Scott Walker are comparing him to adolph hitler and the recently deposed dictator of Egypt, hosni mubarack.

I haven't seen Scott Walker order millions of government employees into a gas chamber for execution. I'm 100% positive that we never will. So the comparison to hitler is, well, stupid. Obviously these protestors either have no knowledge of history or they are going for some kind of shock factor. Since many of these people are teachers, I hope they have some idea of the history of hitler and World War II. So that leaves only their attempt at shock. It is deplorable and shameful to try to compare the murder of millions of people with the current events in Wisconsin. These protestor should be ashamed of themselves.

As for the comparison to mubarack, again, a situation where innocent people lost their lives. These protestors have no idea what it is like to have true violence aimed at them. In Egypt the military fired on unarmed civilians and the civilians held their ground. I have a hard time believing that the Wisconsin protestors are made of the same stuff as the people of Egypt. They are lucky enough to live in a Country where they never have to find out. This comparison is also stupid.

There have also been calls for the assassination of Governor Walker. Who is it again that are the violent ones?

michael moore decided to put his two cents worth in, and you can guess which side of the issue this idiot is on.

It seems that the liberal/democrat/union whackos are the violent ones. Maybe I'm wrong, but the evidence seem to support me on this...
