Burlingame After Meeting With Obama: He Turned His Back On Me

obama takes every opportunity to further prove he is an asshole. To turn his back on a family member of a 9/11 victim is one of the worst things he has done yet. What a prick. This guy does not have what it takes to be the president of the United States. He is like a spoiled child. Those who don't agree with him are treated as if they are beneath him. HE WORKS FOR US, not the other way around. We should have fired his arrogant ass a long time ago...

Debra Burlingame, the sister of Charles "Chic" Burlingame (pilot of the plane that crashed into the Pentagon) met with President Obama today, along with other families who were victims of 9/11. Burlingame said she confronted Obama about Attorney General Eric Holder prosecuting the men who interrogated KSM, which may have produced intelligence leading us to bin Laden.

Burlingame describes the encounter with Obama: "As a former attorney I know you can't tell the Attorney General what to do, he said, 'No, I can't.' But I said 'we -- that shouldn't stop you from giving your opinion. We wouldn't be here today if they hadn't done their jobs. Can't you at least give them your opinion.' And he said 'no I won't,' and he turned around and walked away."

 

NRA to Call for Holder's Resignation Over 'Project Gunrunner' Allegations

The NRA should not only call for the resignation of holder, but doing away with the entire atf.

While everyone is saying that project gunrunner was an operation designed to bring down gun smuggling operations in the US and mexico, I have my doubts. I think it was a way to pad the numbers of guns  winding up south of the border with the goal of further restricting our gun rights. I think that mexico actually had very little to do with it other than being a destination.

I truly believe the atf is so anti-gun and so corrupt that it completely ignores all rules in it's quest to end our freedoms. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that obama is involved in this up to his neck. That isn't something we are likely to find out. His fingerprints in this have been covered well. holder is another matter. With enough digging and the cooperation of a few insiders and there are bound to be tracks leading to his door.

I hope the NRA isn't holding their breath on this, holder will never willingly walk away. He and obama have proven that they give not a damn about the opinion of the American people...

Having deflected questions so far regarding how much he knew about a federal project suspected of allowing guns sold in the U.S. to be illegally smuggled to Mexico, Attorney General Eric Holder is under fire again, this time from the National Rifle Association, a conservative group with a loud voice and influence in Washington.

Sources tell Fox News that NRA Executive Director Wayne LaPierre will call for Holder's resignation in a Saturday morning speech at the NRA's annual meeting in Pittsburgh.

LaPierre has criticized Holder's handling of "Project Gunrunner." The program of the Justice Department's Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms is intended to stop the flow of guns to criminals in Mexico, but whistleblowers claim the bureau actually encouraged the illegal sale of firearms to known criminals, then allowed those guns to be smuggled to Mexico and tracked.

The practice of knowingly allowing guns to "walk" -- or be sold to straw buyers and then transferred to criminal organizations -- is against ATF policy. However, at least 15 ATF whistleblowers claim the agency, with the approval of Holder's Department of Justice, encouraged gun stores to make sales to questionable buyers, then failed to interdict the weapons.

According to Mexican authorities, at least 1,800 of those weapons were successfully smuggled into Mexico, where the cartels used them to commit crimes and foment violence.

What especially galls and upsets U.S. gun owners is this: While the ATF was allegedly sending guns south, hoping to eventually bust the entire trafficking organization, Obama administration officials, including President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, were partly blaming U.S. gun stores for the violence in Mexico.

"This war is being waged with guns purchased not here but in the United States. ... More than 90 percent of the guns recovered in Mexico come from the United States, many from gun shops that lay in our shared border," President Obama said on a visit to Mexico on April 16, 2009.

It's funny really, obama claims to have no time for the silliness of "birthers", but he does have time do an extensive interview with oprah and then fly to New York for a campaign fundraiser? Hmmm, a guy has to have his priorities I guess.

My priorities would probably be the shitty economy and doing something constructive to create jobs and lower the gas prices.

It's easy to see what is important to this pretender, and it sure isn't our Country, what an asshole...

What is a "Spending Reduction" in the "Failsafe" Provision?

According to a news article quoted earlier by BillyBob:

"A White House aide suggested the president's plan would save more than the committee claims in part because of a "failsafe" provision that would trigger additional spending cuts if debt reduction goals are not met. "

What we have here is further proof that the lying bastard in the White House lies, lies, and lies some more.  He is a big, stinking, lying, sack of shit.  This particular lie incenses me to no end, and should do the same for all you readers once you understand what President Pinhead is saying.

One way to lie is to use a new label to refer to an old idea and hope nobody realizes you're talking about something else.  In his recent speeches, Obama referred to "decreasing expenditures in the tax code" and finding ways to "reduce spending in the tax code."  There are no such things as "expenditures in the tax code" or "spending in the tax code."  What he is referring to is money that isn't being taken in taxes!  Any money citizens don't pay in taxes is considered an "expenditure" now in Obamathink.  If tax rates are increased, then to Obozo, that's a smaller "expenditure in the tax code."  This is such an Orwellian concept that it frightens me to think people are actually falling for it.

What this means is that he truly believes that all income earned by everyone in the country belongs to the government, and any that the government doesn't take in taxes should be considered an expenditure by the government.  This idea is so completely backwards that it would boggle the mind if it were anyone else but our Marxist Community Organizer-in-Chief.

The true meaning of this fail-safe provision is that if spending goes over a certain limit, taxes will increase AUTOMATICALLY, without our representatives voting on it.  And since when has spending ever NOT increased, especially with the liberal wrecking crew that's in charge of the executive branch and the Senate? We had a revolution 235 years ago over this type of crap.
