Few Americans see Obama as strong military leader

Wow! That's a huge number, considering it should be 0%. That 17% are dumbasses. This guy is the absolute worst at everything, especially leading our Military. jimmy carter has got to be tickled pink...

Only 17 percent of Americans see President Barack Obama as a strong and decisive military leader, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll taken after the United States and its allies began bombing Libya.

Nearly half of those polled view Obama as a cautious and consultative commander-in-chief and more than a third see him as indecisive in military matters.

Obama was widely criticized in 2009 for his months-long consultations with senior aides and military chiefs on whether to send more troops to Afghanistan. Critics called it dithering, but he said such a big decision required careful deliberation. He eventually dispatched 30,000 more troops.

But Obama is facing mounting discontent among opposition Republicans and from within his own Democratic Party over the fuzzy aims of the U.S.-led mission in Libya and the lack of a clearly spelled-out exit strategy for U.S. forces.

If the Libya mission becomes a foreign policy mess, mixed with perceptions Obama is a weak military leader, it could spell trouble for him in the 2012 presidential election...

13 Mexican Troops Charged With Transporting Drugs

13? Those are the sacrificial lambs. They will take the heat off of the rest for now. If the truth be told the number should probably be 1,300 or even more. The drug lords have free reign in most of mexico, because they have purchased it from the government, the police and the military.

It's a smart move to sacrifice a few thugs once in a while. It gives the appearance that something is being done. When in reality, the corrpution continues...

The Mexican army has ordered three junior officers and 10 soldiers to stand trial on drug trafficking and organized crime charges.

Officials say they were caught with more than a ton of methamphetamines and 66 pounds (30 kilograms) of cocaine last week at a military checkpoint south of Tijuana, across the border from San Diego.

The Defense Department said late Thursday it will not tolerate such acts.

The troops are charged within the military justice system.

Corruption is widespread among Mexican police. Some experts worry it could spread to the tens of thousands of soldiers assigned to fight drug traffickers across the country.

Our Combat Troops to get gay sensitivity training...

Our Combat troops are about to get trained in gay sensitivity. And it appears that this isn't something that can wait until they rotate back to the comforts of home. They will be receiving this training in the field.

You have to understand what exactly these men are being prepared for.

When I was in the Marine Corps in the early '80s there were gay men in the Military then as there are now. Don't ask, don't tell was in full swing, but we knew some of those serving with us were gay. While they were gay, they joined the Marine Corps for the same reason I did. They knew they would be required to keep their personal life to themselves and they joined anyway, because they are proud Americans and felt a need to serve their Country.

What our Military is going to be prepared for isn't that type of gay man. They are going to be prepared for those who are joining because they have been denied. They are going to be prepared for the guys you see in the gay pride parades with assless chaps and feather boas. These men will not join because they are proud Americans and feel a need to serve their Country. They will join because now they haven't been able to in the past.

What do you think this is going to do to our Military? Initially it will affect morale. Eventually it will lead to a drop in enlistment and finally it will lead to the end of our Military as we know it.

I fear for the future of our Country...
